Returns & Exchanges
We stand behind the quality of our custom-configured hardware. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: completely undamaged, with no signs of wear, and in its original packaging with all included cables, power supplies, and accessories.

Return Shipping Costs (Buyer's Remorse)
If you are returning an item because you simply changed your mind, ordered the wrong product, or no longer need the device, you are responsible for paying all return shipping costs. When you request a return, you may choose to use your own trackable shipping method, or we can provide a return shipping label. If we provide the label, the exact cost of the return shipping will be automatically deducted from your final refund amount. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Defective or Damaged Hardware
If your hardware arrives defective or is damaged during initial transit, we will make it right. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Nomad Home IP will cover the return shipping costs for defective units and will promptly send a replacement or issue a full refund upon receiving and inspecting the defective device.

International & European Union (EU) Customers
If you are purchasing from outside the United States, the following additional terms apply:
* EU Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period): If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel or return your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire 14 days from the day you, or a third party designated by you, acquire physical possession of the hardware.
* Customs, Duties, and Taxes: For all international orders, original shipping fees, import duties, customs taxes, and carrier brokerage fees are non-refundable. 
* International Return Shipping: Unless the device is defective, all international customers are responsible for arranging and paying the full cost of return shipping to our U.S. facility.

Subscription & Activation Refunds
Your hardware is tied to the Mothership Link Activation subscription. How refunds are handled depends on when you cancel:
* Returns within the 14-Day Window: If you return your hardware within the eligible 14-day return period, your initial Mothership Link Activation fee (whether you chose the monthly or annual plan) will be fully refunded along with the cost of your hardware. Upon initiating the return, your ongoing subscription will be permanently canceled. 
* Cancellations after 14 Days: If you choose to cancel your subscription after the 14-day return window has passed, the hardware is yours to keep. We do not offer prorated refunds for the remainder of your current billing cycle (monthly or annual). Your connection will simply remain active until the end of your currently paid term, and you will not be billed again.

How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please email us at contact@nomadhomeip.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the exact shipping address. Packages sent back to us without first requesting an RMA will not be accepted.

Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected by our team, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If the device is in original working condition, your refund (minus any return shipping costs) will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.
